Artize Wellness

Create a private wellness retreat at home with Artize Wellness by Jaquar UK. Designed for bathrooms and dedicated wellness spaces where luxury, design and advanced bathing experiences come together, the Artize Wellness collection brings together free-standing baths, Oxypool systems, saunas, steam solutions and whirlpools.

Artize is the luxury brand from Jaquar, recognised for contemporary and minimalist design, meticulous finishes and products conceived by globally renowned designers. The brand's design philosophy extends beyond conventional bathroom fittings into spaces designed around relaxation, sensory experience and personal wellbeing. Artize has also received international design recognition, including Red Dot, Good Design and iF Design awards.

The current Artize Wellness collection available in the UK provides different ways to create a more immersive bathing and wellness environment, whether you are designing a luxury ensuite, a private home spa, a dedicated wellness room or a high-end residential bathroom.

Luxury Wellness Solutions for the Home

A modern wellness bathroom can be much more than a conventional bathing space. The combination of a carefully designed bath, steam solution, sauna, whirlpool or specialised wellness system can create an environment dedicated to slowing down, unwinding and enjoying a more considered bathing routine.

Artize approaches this space through a combination of design, technology and bathing experience. Its Wellness collection includes products for different types of wellness environments, from statement freestanding bathtubs to larger-scale sauna, steam, whirlpool and Oxypool installations.

The collection is particularly suited to projects where the wellness area needs to feel integrated with the architecture and interior design rather than appearing like an additional utility space.

Artize Free Standing Baths

A freestanding bath can become the centrepiece of a luxury bathroom or private bathing space. Unlike a built-in bath, its form remains visible from multiple angles, making the bathtub an important part of the overall interior composition.

The current Artize UK collection includes two freestanding baths:

• Tiaara Free Standing Bathtub

• Artize VIC Free Standing Bathtub

Both are listed as contemporary, oval-shaped Artize baths with a White finish. The Tiaara model is listed under code ABT-WHT-FSBTTA3011, while the Artize VIC model is listed under code ABT-WHT-FSBTVC5001.

The Tiaara Free Standing Bathtub provides a sculptural option for bathrooms where the bath is intended to act as a visual focal point. The Artize VIC Free Standing Bathtub offers another contemporary oval configuration within the collection.

When planning a freestanding bath, consider the complete space around it. Floor area, access, water supply, waste positioning, tap placement and the relationship between the bath and surrounding sanitaryware should all be established before installation.

A freestanding bathtub can be paired with a suitable floor-mounted or wall-mounted bath tap depending on the planned installation. The wider Artize collection includes coordinated tap and bathroom solutions, allowing the bath to be integrated into a complete luxury bathroom design.

Artize Oxypool Systems

For a more advanced wellness experience, Artize offers Oxypool systems, combining whirlpool-style bathing with oxygen-enriched water technology.

The current Jaquar UK Artize Oxypool collection includes three systems:

• LEXA OXYPOOL SYSTEM

• Artize Tiaara Oxypool System

• Quadro Oxypool System

The products are listed as contemporary whirlpool baths, with the current category showing a White finish and Square shape classification. The Lexa and Tiaara systems are identified with their respective Artize ranges, while Quadro provides a distinct configuration within the collection.

The LEXA OXYPOOL SYSTEM is listed under code AWL-WHT-LEXA190OX, while the Artize Tiaara Oxypool System uses code AWL-WHT-TIAARA190OX and the Quadro Oxypool System uses code AWL-WHT-QUADRO190OX.

Oxypool is suited to wellness projects where the bath itself is intended to form part of a more immersive, technology-led experience.

When specifying an Oxypool system, the available installation area, electrical and plumbing requirements, access for installation and servicing, and the technical requirements of the individual system should be considered at the planning stage.

Artize Saunas

An Artize sauna introduces a dedicated heat-based wellness experience into the home. The current UK collection includes two sauna products:

• Bio Sauna (6–8 Seater)

• Aura Sauna (2–3 Seater)

Both are listed with a Natural Wood finish and are categorised as contemporary and designer Artize saunas.

The Bio Sauna (6–8 Seater) is listed under code ASU-NAW-1102A220, while the Aura Sauna (2–3 Seater) is listed under code ASU-NAW-9060150.

The difference in capacity provides flexibility when planning a wellness space. The Aura configuration is suited to a more compact private sauna environment, while the larger Bio Sauna is designed for a substantially greater seating capacity.

A home sauna requires more planning than simply allocating floor space. Ventilation, electrical requirements, surrounding materials, access, clearances and installation conditions should be assessed with a suitably qualified professional before purchase.

The natural wood appearance can also contribute to the visual character of the wellness room, particularly when combined with stone, timber, neutral surfaces and carefully controlled lighting.

Artize Steam Solutions

Steam bathing provides another way to create a dedicated wellness environment at home. The Artize Steam Solution collection currently includes Quadro Steam Cabins, Steam Power steam generators, Touch Displays for Steam Power and a Metal Box component.

The current collection includes:

• Quadro Steam Cabin – ASG-BRN-QUADRO120X120

• Quadro Steam Cabin – ASG-GRY-QUADRO120X100

• Steam Power Steam Generator – 6 kW

• Steam Power Steam Generator – 4.5 kW

• Touch Display for Steam Power – White

• Touch Display for Steam Power – Black

• Metal Box

The Quadro steam cabins are available in Brown and Grey configurations on the current UK website. The Steam Power range includes 4.5 kW and 6 kW generators, while touch-display options are available in White and Black.

A steam installation needs to be planned as a complete system rather than as an individual product purchase. The cabin or enclosed steam environment, generator capacity, control interface, steam outlet arrangement, electrical supply, ventilation and installation conditions should all be assessed against the requirements of the selected system.

This makes Artize Steam Solutions relevant to homeowners and designers creating a dedicated home steam room, luxury steam cabin or bathroom wellness space.

Artize Whirlpool Systems

The Artize Whirlpool collection provides another route to a more immersive bathing environment. The current UK range includes two products:

• ARTIZE LEXA SUPERIOR WHIRLPOOL AND AIRPOOL COMBI SYSTEM WITH FILTRATION SYSTEM

• Artize Tiaara Superior Whirlpool And Airpool Combi System

Both are listed as contemporary whirlpool baths with a White finish.

The Artize Lexa Superior Whirlpool and Airpool Combi System with Filtration System is listed under code AWL-WHT-LEXA190FLTCX.

The Artize Tiaara Superior Whirlpool and Airpool Combi System is listed under code AWL-WHT-TIAARA190CX.

These systems combine whirlpool and airpool functionality within a dedicated bathing solution. The Lexa system additionally includes a filtration system as identified by its product name on the Jaquar UK website.

When planning a whirlpool bath, installation requirements are particularly important. The available space, plumbing, electrical supply, access for installation and maintenance, floor structure and surrounding bathroom materials should all be assessed before the final specification is made.

Choosing the Right Artize Wellness Solution

The right wellness product depends on the type of experience you want to create and the space available.

For a statement bathing space

Consider an Artize Tiaara or VIC freestanding bath when the bathtub itself is intended to be a prominent design feature. Freestanding baths work particularly well where there is sufficient space to appreciate the shape from multiple viewpoints.

For an advanced bathing experience

The Lexa, Tiaara and Quadro Oxypool systems provide options for projects where the bath is intended to incorporate specialised wellness technology.

For dedicated heat wellness

The Aura and Bio saunas provide different seating capacities for private home wellness spaces. The choice should be based on the available room dimensions and intended number of users.

For steam bathing

The Quadro Steam Cabin and Steam Power components provide a dedicated steam solution, with different generator capacities available within the current collection.

For hydrotherapy-style bathing

The Lexa and Tiaara Superior Whirlpool and Airpool systems provide dedicated whirlpool and airpool configurations for a more immersive bathing environment.

Designing a Complete Home Wellness Space

A successful wellness bathroom is not created by selecting a single product in isolation. The surrounding architecture, materials, lighting, ventilation, plumbing and electrical infrastructure all contribute to how the space works.

Start with the available room and determine whether the project is best suited to a freestanding bath, sauna, steam cabin, whirlpool or Oxypool system. From there, consider the circulation around the product and how other bathroom elements will fit into the layout.

For a complete luxury bathroom, Artize Wellness products can be considered alongside the wider Artize portfolio of basins, toilets, taps and showering products. Jaquar UK structures these categories as part of its complete bathroom offering, allowing the different elements to be coordinated within one design scheme.

For example, a bathroom featuring an Artize freestanding bath can be coordinated with Artize basin and tap collections, while a dedicated wellness zone can incorporate an Artize steam, sauna, Oxypool or whirlpool solution.

The objective is to create a coherent environment where the wellness equipment feels integrated into the bathroom rather than added as an afterthought.

Important Considerations Before Installation

Wellness products generally require more detailed planning than standard bathroom fittings. Before selecting an Artize wellness product, consider:

Space and configuration: Check the dimensions of the room and ensure sufficient space for the selected product, access and surrounding circulation.

Installation requirements: Review the product-specific plumbing, electrical, structural and ventilation requirements before construction begins.

Access: Large baths, saunas, steam cabins and wellness systems may require careful planning for delivery and installation.

Services: Confirm water supply, drainage, electrical capacity and ventilation requirements with qualified professionals.

Maintenance: Consider how the system will be accessed for cleaning, inspection and servicing.

Interior materials: Select moisture-resistant and suitable materials around steam and water-intensive wellness installations.

Professional specification: Complex wellness installations should be planned and installed by suitably qualified professionals in accordance with the manufacturer's technical requirements.

The product-specific technical documentation should always take precedence over general planning guidance, particularly for electrical and installation requirements.
